Span is a private, nonprofit organization, proudly serving the community since 1974. We provide transportation and meal services to older adults, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and the general public.

To enable people to live as fully and independently as possible by providing nutrition, transportation, and social services to older people, people with disabilities, veterans, and the public.
Vision
To eradicate senior hunger and to eliminate gaps in transportation in Denton County.

Our Services:
Home Delivered Meals
Hot, nutritious noon meals delivered to home-bound seniors and persons with disabilities.
Senior Paws
Monthly pet food for home-bound clients who can’t afford it.
Congregate Lunches
Group lunches at locations throughout Denton County.
Transportation Services
Span operates as the Designated Rural Transportation Provider in Denton County. We serve the residents of Denton County, by appointment, who live outside of the Denton/Lewisville corridor.
